RULES
In the latest chapter we read, we are beginning to see a bit of a friendship develop between Jason and Catherine. They seem to have made up from the time she drew him. They start to chat a little, and at first Catherine is scared and doesn't know what to do. Eventually, she makes a card with her name on it and puts a picture of her with it. This gets her mind flowing! She sees that all of this cards are black and white and have no detail. Jason asks Mrs. Morehouse to make more cards with pictures and she says she can't. So Catherine jumps in and says she will, but she has no idea what to do. If you were Catherine, what would you put on his cards? Why would you put those things? What would they look like?

If I was CatherineI would wright word like fantastic, alsome, and wounderful. then drawl pitchers that maches the word.
ReplyDeleteI dont really no what they would look like cause I dont get it when you say what would they look like.What i would on they cards the words I would play is nice,kind,thoutful,playful.trusting,cool,and the last thing I would put is MISTAKES.why I would put MISTAKES is because I make alot of MISTAKES sometimes and you said put what you are likeand that is hat im like I make MIATAKES.

DeleteIf I was Catherine I would wright interesting words like fantastic, assume, or amazing and I would color with lots of different bright colors like hot pink, lime green, yellow, or blue. I would also draw lots of things that Jason likes.
ReplyDeleteI would like to write what things Jason likes and things that I like then after we covered all the bases then I would write different words like the first two who replied to this BLOG and write awsome, cool, fantastic, and many more. I really think that Catherine is making her first real friend with Jason. Then I am hoping that later in the book Jason's speech therapy will work and he'll be able to talk again.
ReplyDeleteI dont really no what they look like but I know how think I understand that Kathern doesn't like her brither david but she has to learn how to get alongand she love the new girl next doorand wanted to make a good emperstion liie take a plate full of cookies and something to drink but she thinks david ruinedthat for her and he tried to be nice but she doesn't get it

DeleteI would write something that both Jason and I like so we could continue a conversation. After that I would write something that I liked so we could talk about something that I like.

ReplyDeleteI would write out cards and make pictures on the cards that I knew we'll both like . Some words that I would write on the cards would be like beatuy, fabulous, fantasic, and the colors I would use would be hot pink ,lime green and blue and yellow .Thats what I would do if I was catherine

ReplyDeleteIf I were Catherine I would use very odd words. I would put things on the cards that Jason likes and stuff that I like. That way Jason and I could talk about many different things.

ReplyDeleteIf i was catherine i would write some good words and some very awsome words and i would draw some picture that go with the words.

ReplyDeleteI think that Katherine should draw things like pork or maybe an extremely happy face for awesome. Maybe for awesome she should do billy goats and lamas to. Actually no, those things are BEYOND AWESOME. Anyways, back to the point this is a hard task for Katherine. I would feel bad if I was in her place. This must be hard for her

DeleteIf I were her, I would write what both of them could chat about and ask if I could put a lot more detail to the other words and make them more exiting.

DeleteIf I were her I would put a Hi or a Bye card. I would put pictures of sad and happy faces on the cards.
ReplyDeleteThink outside the box. You need to be thinking about the two of them. I think they needs cards to use to they can have conversations. It would make her more comfortable if she could relate to his cards more. I love the idea of using phrases instead of just simple words. Phrases like "OH REALLY" or "WHAT's YOUR POINT". Things that you might say.
