At the end of the chapter, Catherine is putting cards into Jason's communication book. The card "together" had her and Jason sitting on the bench together, but Jason isn't in his wheel chair. He tells her he wants it in the picture and she makes another excuse as to why she didn't put him in it. This upsets Jason and he turns and rolls away.
I think now Jason is beginning to know why Catherine acts the way she does. She has a tendency to not show these feeling and makes excuses for why she doesn't want stuff. I want to know why she does this. Why does she always make excuses? Why hasn't she told Kristi the truth? Why did she answer for Kristi when Jason invited her to his party (why didn't she ask Kristi)?
Catherine always makes excuses because she doesn’t want Jason to know the truth about something’s. I think she does that because she doesn’t want Jason to know some things that are embarrassing to her. I sort of feel bad for Jason because he will never know some of these things for a while that Catherine makes excuses for. Catherine hasn’t told Kristi the truth because she doesn’t want Kristi to know that Jason is handicapped. Catherine thinks that Kristi will think she is a loser for hanging out with somebody like that. I think that she should tell Kristi because than they might become better friends. Catherine answers for Kristi because first of all she doesn’t want to face Kristi and second of all she doesn’t want Kristi to know that Jason is handicapped.
ReplyDeleteShe has made a lot of different excuses in the past few chapters. I’m not sure why she does this I am wondering why as well. I think she didn’t ask Kristi to the birthday party because she thinks Kristi will make fun of her because she thinks Catherine really likes Jason and that she was going to ask him to the dance instead of going to the birthday party. I don’t think Kristi understands Catherine very much because she doesn’t listen to what Catherine has to say all the time.
ReplyDeleteCatherine makes excuses because she doesn't like to face what she does wrong. I think she hasn't told Kristi the truth because she thinks she will get made fun of. She answers for Kristi because if Kristi could come she would find out about Jason and Catherine thinks she would get embarassed by Kristi. I think Catherine should stop making excuses about stuff and say the truth for once. I think she should tell Kristi and Jason the whole story so she doesn't have to keep that in for a long time.
ReplyDeleteI think that Catherine does this because she is embarrassed by David in public because he yells if something isn't right. Why does she make excuses cause she knows what they are doing on that day and she is just afraid that Kristi will make fun of her and Jason because she is handicap .Cause she wanted her to know if she was going or not to the dance. Why didn’t she ask Kristi cause she didn't want Kristi to make fun of Jason
