Interesting Part

We heard yesterday in the story, that Billy's dogs aren't dead, they are actually alive.  I was shocked to hear this the first time I read this book.  I guessed that when he pointed, the dogs would get lost and would die.  It made me feel bad for Billy because his dogs are so loyal and will do anything to please him.  We left off when one of the hunters came back and said they were still alive.  My emotions went back to excitement because it would be bad if they died.  What are your thougths when the dogs took off on after the coon?  Do you think they have the coon treed?  He needs this coon to win the contest.  I wonder??????

    I thank that they will birng the coon treed.He will win because his dogs are hard worker's.

    no beacause well i saw the movie and i don t think they coon a tree becsause the guy the fell on the acks dad wins but he gives it to billy cause of all his work and what his dog had to go throw

    I thought that his dogs were going to die until the hunter said that they are still alive. I hope they win.

    The boy pointed the other way so the dog went over there. When the dog went, the boy was worried and he wanted to get the dog. The boy couldn't because he had to stay with his grandpa.

    I was so shooked that I didn't think that they were going to make it. I sure that Bily thought the same thing thing and was really surprised when he found out that they were alive.

    I thought that they would get lost and die from chasing the racoon,i was happy that the man say that they were alive.
