In reading the section on Summer, I totally wish there were more people in the world like her. If that were the case, we'd have a pretty awesome world. Issue is, there are always going to be people like Julian and Jack that act like they are really nice and cool and are actually jerks.
I don't know how far you will get with read aloud today, but you will begin to read about Jack some. I was kind of shocked with his reaction, but it also confirmed that there is some good in him. It also confirms that Julian is a complete fake. I'm dying to hear more about Jack. I hope he figures things out!
Yea Jack was really good till he told the other kids about why he would kill himself if he was aggie but then hearing his part of the story he was really nice to aggie

DeleteI think that summer wont be a fake like Jack because summer is nice to Augie. I hope Jack and Augie will be friends aging. But i don't think that will happen after what Augie heard what Jack said.

ReplyDeleteI agree I love Summer i couldn't belive what she did at the party. that was awesome she just walked away because they were saying bad thing about Auggie that means she is a real friend. I actually don't think Jack and Auggie shculd be friends again because that really hurt Auggies feelings that's a really mean thing to say.

ReplyDeleteI'm kind of hoping that August will give Jack Wil another shot at being friends with him. First of all you have to give him some credit about being truthful about August but, he is still a jerk about talking about him that way but, Summer is about the best friend you can have.... I think anyways.
ReplyDeleteJack is making me trust him all over again! We didn't get to it yet, but maybe there's a part in the section that explains the part when Jack claims he would kill himself if he looked like Auggie. I really hope so! Now Jack is making me trust him again......
